The Kabbalat Shabbat service is conducted on Friday nights at 6:30PM.
Following Friday Night services there is an opportunity to socialize over coffee and dessert, at a member-sponsored Oneg Shabbat, special dinners and programs.
The Shabbat Morning service is conducted on Saturday mornings at 10:30AM.
Saturday Morning Services are usually preceded by Shabbat Hevre, a study and discussion of Jewish texts led by our rabbi over bagels and coffee, at 9:00AM. The group studies selected Biblical texts in depth. See Upcoming Events for the current topic.
Children’s Shabbat programs features music, stories, and art that get kids moving and singing. They are led by our popular and engaging young performers and musicians along with our student cantor.

We celebrate Family Shabbat with a lively Kabbalat Shabbat service for children of all ages and their families. Often, UT Religious School students help prepare and lead the service. Afterwards we enjoy a pot luck dinner together.
Following Kabbalat Shabbat services we enjoy deluxe Pizzas, soda and salad. Several times each year a popular movie is also shown.
Following Kabbalat Shabbat services talented UT members and their friends; folk singers, pianists, cabaret artists, and others entertain us while we enjoy wine, cheese and and range of tasty delicacies.
Following Kabbalat Shabbat services we enjoy a light buffet dinner. Then special guest speakers, often from among our members, address us on a wide range of topics; news, books, politics, arts, social justice, and more.
Brotherhood and Sisterhood each host an annual Saturday morning service and luncheon. Members conduct the service along with the Rabbi and deliver the D’var Torah.
