Friday, January 25 | 6:30PM: Kabbalat Shabbat 7:30PM: Dinner and Lecture | 3rd Floor
Rabbi Dr. A. Stanley Dreyfus was a luminary in the world of Reform Judaism: Rabbi and later Rabbi Emeritus of Union Temple (1965-2008), Placement Director and Chair of the Liturgy Committee of the CCAR, and esteemed and beloved professor at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion.
I was amongst the last generation of his many students, and I am honored to be able to bring some of his teachings—as well as some personal reminiscences—when Union Temple holds its annual Rabbi Dr. A. Stanley Dreyfus Memorial Lecture.
