Drawing upon Jewish spiritual traditions and incorporating the tools of breathwork, visualization, mindfulness, sound vibration and toning, progressive relaxation, as well as singing and chanting (in Hebrew and English), you will learn how to dissolve “mental clutter” and achieve greater clarity, balance emotions and feel calmer and more centered. Connect more deeply with your Nefesh (Soul).

No previous meditation experience is required.

All are welcome and there is no fee.

Please arrive on time and wear comfortable clothing.

Sessions are led by UT member and Registered Yoga Teacher Gail Levine-Fried,  Ph.D, and retired Professor of  Therapeutic Recreation at Kingsborough Community College. She currently teaches Hatha Yoga, Holistic Healthcare and Stress Management. Fall sessions will be co-facilitated by Faye White-Willinger, a Holistic Nurse Practioner with a background in Mindfulness Meditation.
