Moonlight is a semi-autobiographical drama chronicling three stages in the life of an African-American gay man growing up with physical and emotional abuse in a rough Miami neighborhood. It explores the difficulties he faces with his sexuality and identity.
Winner of the 2017 Golden Globe and 2017 Academy Award for best picture.
