Join us for PJLibrary and UT’s Tot Shabbat Sukkot party. Music and Sukkah decorating and pizza. Our Tot program is for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers—accompanied by their adult guests. Everyone joins in singing, dancing, and storytelling to welcome Shabbat. There’s plenty of challah and grape juice to go around. For the Sukkot party please RSVP to Caryn Roman.
Out of the Shabbox, a cross-cultural, interfaith, interactive and free drop-in program for children up to age 5, uses movement, music, and storytelling to explore Shabbat themes such as peace and charity. Rachel Joravsky, Jewish educator and comedian, Stephen Figurasmith, musician and early childhood educator, Ben Rubin, a multi-talented composer and instrumentalist, and Amanda Miller, a movement teacher and storyteller, lead the group in song, dance and stories about the things we value and that unite us. We start and end with snacks!
